 The Tier1 FS-1001 food service replacement filter compares to the Everpure EV9612-56. Filtering your water not only improves taste for drinking, but also cooking. The FS-1001 reduces Chlorine taste and odor, cysts, cryptosporidium, and hardness, improving overall quality and helping you meet sanitary requirements. The hardness inhibitor reduces scale build up on equipment which prevents repairs and wear and tear on your system. The filter easily screws right into the single head system.

Limescale Inhibitor:
The Tier1 FS-1001 helps inhibit the build up of limescale which could otherwise lead to lowered equipment efficiency or even costly system failure. Limescale is an off-white chalky substance that builds on the inside of pipes usually in connection with heating elements and heat transfer devices. By having a filter like the Tier1 FS-1001 the level of minerals that contribute to this build up are reduced and you can rest a little easier knowing that the efficacy of your machine is being protected.
